wires meeting the requirements of the class in BS 6360 and IEC 228 specifications for

Insulation:

PVC insulated power cable The insulation of standard wiring cables is PVC grade

Type T1 1 of Bs 7655 Formerly BS 6746) suitable for a maximum continous conductor

operating temperature of 70C. Where specifically required, wiring cables can be

offered with heat resistance PVC insulated grade. Type 5 (85 cType T1 3 (90 c). These

cables are identified by the grade of PVC.

Unless specially agreed otherwise, insullation colours are in accordance with BS 6004
